CHURCHILL STATUE
PROPOSED FOR DOVER CLIFFS (Rec. 7.10). LONDON, Nov. 18. The Mayors of Kent towns representing the Cinque Ports, met. at the week-end to discuss the possibility of erecting a giant statue to Mr Churchhill on the cliffs of Dover, with a permanently illuminated cigar to guide Channel shipping. It was stated at the mealing that letters' supporting the project had been received from Canada. Australia, South Africa, and France
