GOOD PRICES RECEIVED.

Although bying power was limited because of cold weather conditions which have prevailed recently and because of the backward feed position most of the yarding at Dalgety and Co. Ltd.’s sale at Ngahere yesterday changed hands at satisfactory prices. There was an entry of about 160 head of cattle comprising mostly two and three-year-old steers. Steady competition was experienced for any cattle in forward condition. The following is a list of the principal sales.— Account W. McLaughlin: 14 yearlings at £6 7s 6d; 3 at £6 17s 6d; 1 bull £7 2s 6d; 7 wethers £1 15s; 7 ewes £1 6s.
