LONDON, September 11. The favourite, Airborne, won the St. Leger Stakes at Doncaster today, from Murren and Fast-and.-Fair. Eleven started. Airborne won by one and a-half lengths, with three lengths . between second and third. The winner’s prize was £Bl5O. A, record crowd, estimated at 250,000, thronged Doncaster for the St.' Leger, which was the first race to be run at Doncaster since 1938.
