Japs in Soviet Hands TOKIO PEOPLE ASK INFORMATION TOKIO. September 11. In the first demonstration against one of the Allies, 5000 Japanese paraded in front of the Soviet Embassy in Tokio with banners asking for news of members of their families held by the Russians. MacARTHUR AND COMMUNISTS MOSCOW COMPLAINT LONDON, September 11. The Moscow radio, quoting the Moscow newspaper Izvestia, said: General MacArthur’s deeds showed that he preferred to use Japan as a springboard for war with Russia. It added: The State Department failed to refute General MacArthur’s “pro- 1 clamation of an anti-Communist campaign”.
