Checked After a Day (Rec 6 30). NEW YORK, August 23. The Stock Exchange made a s-light recovery on Friday, after its serious plunge on Thursday. Prices regained approximately one-quarter of their losses and the volume of trading was about’ half that of the previous day. The improvement was attributed to the easing of the tension over Yugoslavia. _
