BOXING

To-night’s Tourney Blenheim team’s visit. A boxing tournament will be held in the Town Hall to-night when a strong team from Blenheim will meet the best of the Coasters. It should be productive of some very good boxing if the Marlborough boys are as good as reputed. The star attraction will be the Boddy-Leeston bout of six rounds. Boddy has been working particularly well. Leeston will have to be better than average to keep him at bay. The stars of the Blenheim team are Hamm, Wilson, Leeston and Beattie. They are opposed by very good boys in Eder, Gladstone, Finlay and Boddy. Maurice Tuck will meet a non-stop fighter, with a punch in each hand, in K. McDonald, who is highly rated in Blenheim. The visitor will have to show something special to obtain a decision over Tuck who is boxing very well at present. Tuck, Boddy, Eder, Finlay, Brennan and Gladstone will be battling for a place in the West Coast team which goes to Auckland next month for the New Zealand championships. These boys will be on their' mettle to-night. Professional Bouts in View:

The Grey Boxing Association have the following professional bouts in view: F. Endicott (Australia) v. Henry Robinson; Norm. Ross v. T. Downes; T. Downes v. H. Robinson; B. Murphy v. J. McCann.
