SHIPPING
The s.s. Kaimai arrived at 9.5 a.m. yesterday from Wellington, and is loading coal for return. The a.s. Piri arrived at 9.20 a.m. yesterday, and is unloading explosives. The s.s. Holmlea sailed at 10 a.m. yesterday with coal for Picton. The s.s. Poolta sailed at 10.35 a.m. yesterday with coal for Napier and Gisborne, The s.s. Kiwitea sailed at 10.40 a.m. yesterday with 3000 tons of coal for Auckland. The s.s. Gabriella is scheduled to leave Westport this evening to discharge general cargo. The s.s. Omana was expected to put into Westport last evening to replenish her bunkers.
