Mr I. E. Jones left last evening on return to Christchurch. Mr. E. W. Panckhurst returned to Greymouth by yesterday’s express from Christchurch. Mr L. W. Mills, of Greymouth, left this morning for Otaki, where his mother, Mrs R. A. Mills, is seriously ill. A.C. 1 Keith Batty, R.N.Z.A.F., of Ohakea, who is visiting his parents, in Greymouth is accompanied by L.A.C. Len Mossong and L.A.C. Bill Sutherland, both of the R.N.Z.A.F. Mr W. M. Kelly, of Sydney, arrived yesterday afternoon on a visit, to relatives at Runanga and Westport. Mr A. T. Myers who has been Apiary Instructor for the Westland, Nelson and Blenheim districts, with headquarters at Greymouth, for the past two and a-half years, ' has resigned from the Department of Agriculture and will leave to-morrow to operate his own .apiary in Central Otago.
