Coasters do -Well. IN CANTERBURY TOURNEY M. TUCK’S FINE PERFORMANCE P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, . Oct. 9 The Inter-Provincial tourney this evening drew competitions from the Hutt Valley: and Greymouth. One of the best bout seen in Christchurch for many years was between M. Tuck (West Coast) and T. McPherson (Hutt Valley). After a splendid exhibtion Tuck gained the verdict. Other results were: — , Martini (West Coast) beat K. Murf.itt (Canterbury); B. Musson (Hutt Valley) knocked out K. Dawson (Hutt Valley) in the third round; Webbey (Hutt Valley) beat R. Musson (Canterbury); Jackson (Canterbury) and J. Boddy (West Coast) drew; Murphy (Hutt Valley) beat. Brill (Canterbury); McKenna (Hutt Valley) drew with J.’ Musson (Canterbury); Adams (Hutt Valley) beat J. Murl'itt (Canterbury); Strickland (Canterbury) beat Whitham (Hutt Valley); Russell (Canterbury) beat O’Gorman (West Coast).
