WEST COAST HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY The West Coast Horticultural Society’s Spring Flower Show opened yesterday afternoon in the Town Hall, Greymouth. The show will continue to-day and will also be open this evening. W Buchanan won the Kilgour Challange Cup for twelve distinct varieties of daffodils, and also the Daffodil Cup for, the most points in the sections 1 to 9. Rev E. O. Harding won the E. B. White Challenge Cup in the amateur section, and D. Haglund was awarded the trophy for the best Incomparabilis in that section.- . Mr. E. Yates judged the daffodil entries, Mr. W. Buchannan tne cut flowers, and Mrs. R. P. Chibnail the decorative section. The following awrds have been made: —
