IKAMATUA NOTES
[Our Own Correspondent] An address was given by the Hon. C. F. Skinner in the Ikamatua Hau on Sunday last before a good attenctance. A ’ brief outline of the Government’s intentions, so far as iehabilitation and forestry are concerned, was made by the Minister in the short time at his disposal. Mr Skinner was accompanied by Mrs Skinner, his secretary, and Mr McGregor. After being entertained at dinner by the local branch of the Labour.Party the party proceeded to Waiuta. . r , TI The following members of the Ikamatua Football Club will journey to Westport on Saturday for a friendly game with the Westport team: J. Hampton, S. Jones, O. Brough, L. Woolhouse, D. McVicar, H. Lines, V. Curtain, S. Burrows, P. Lines, C. Baty, A. Bannan, W. Widdoson, R. Venis, F. Flynn, P. Werner, P< Prendergast and M. Prendergast. Mr P. Kerr will be the manager. Players are requested to assemble outside the railway station at 8.50 a.m. sharp.
