Opera House Finally To-night: “Always in My Heart”. Next Attraction (Commences Tomorrow, Tuesday): “Squadron Leader X”. Attaining great heights of dramatic entertainment, and presenting Eric Portman and Ann Dvorak as an important new co-starring team, “Squadron Leader X”, commencing at the Opera House to-morrow, Tuesday, is a film event of great interest. Th e story paints a vivid psychological nict'ure of a Nazi airman' who unwittingly finds himself transported to Britain with the identity of a British officer. His attempts to avoid detection and to escape to Germany involve a beautiful girl of German extraction in his intrigue. British Intelligence officers intensify their efforts to trace him. The Nazi abandons pretence of chivalry in his attempts to avoid capture. Believing that he may reveal vital information, the Gestapo orders an agent in Britain to dispose of him. The flyer’s schemes are further endangered when the girl’s lovalty to her husband and the country that has given her refuge compel her to disclose her part. The Nazi’s death battle with a Gestapo agent, his amazing dash to a British airdrome where he steals a plane, and his desperate dog-fight over the Channel where he can no longer cheat fate, are high-lights in a story teeming with vivid drama and breathtaking thrills.
