lOur Own Correspondent] • ■ REEFTON, May 12. Mrs Warner and son, of Dunedin, are visiting her daughter, Mrs Nicol, Crushington. .Mr N. Knight has been advised that his brother, Private Jim Knight, has arrived in England from a prisoner of war camp. Mr R. Salmon and Miss M. Buist, .Otago Varsity, are spending holidays with their people. Misses J. Bolitho, K. Osborne and V. Bolitho have arrived from Christchurch Teachers’ Training College for the holidays. -Mr T. Bannon has returned lo Christchurch after visiting friends. Mr T. C. Irving presided; at the Inangahua Rugby sub-Union’s meeting, when it was decided to advise the West Coast Union that it would send an Inangahua team to Greymouth on May 26. Maruia Young Farmers asked for a friendly game at Reefton. The game was accepted for a .ater date. Messrs T. Dellaca and C. Harris were appointed official line umpires. Cronadun advised thenclub was being revived and that they would be ready to take the field in a fortnight. Ground and hall committees were appointed. The fixture for Sunday-at Reefton was: Waratahs v. United, 3 1 p.m.; referee, J. Dellaca. It was decided to carry out an inspection of players’ boots before, play commences. Members commented unfavourably on the growth oft grass on the football ground. It was decided to invite a representative of the St. John Brigade to be present at matches.
