CYCLING
The Greymouth Cycling Club held a road race yesterday over a course of about nine miles. The race was won by a Christchurch rider, P. Doyle, who also secured the fastest time. Results: P. Doyle 1, (and fastest time), D. Clarke 2, P. Duffy 3. Time 23 min. 40 4-5 secs. Next Sunday’s race will be from Dunollie to Stewart’s Brewery and back.
