[Our Own Correspondent] Misses E Clark (Main Road) and J. Richardson (Red Jacks) have gone to Dunedin on a holiday. Mr. A. Simpson, of Richmond, Christchurch, wno had been visiting Qvir. and Mrs. D. Adamson, has left on his return. Mrs. B. y J. Williams, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. L. Kinsella, Hart Street, is visiting Christchurch. Dr. Vic Johnstone, lately returned from overseas, paid a visit here early in the week to meet his uncle, Mr. R. A. Johnstone, Postmaster. Mr. lan Maguigan, left on Thursday for Harewood. Mrs. Hodge has returned to the North Island after visiting Mrs. E. Hayes. Mr. A. Openshaw, of Denniston, was a 1 recent visitor here. The death of Mrs. Janet Fraser, wife of the Prime Minister, the Right Hon. P. Fraser, was deeply regretted by the residents of Blackoall, ffiany of whom had met her and her husband when they visited the township in 1937.
