''FRISCO SECURITY CONFERENCE.

8.0.W. RUGBY, March 15. The British Government received from the Polish Government a protest against the omission of Poland from the States invited to take part in the United Nations’ Conference at S'an Francisco. The protest was addressed also to the Government of the United States and China. It. is pointed out in official British quarters that in accordance with decisions of the Crimean Conference, a commission representing, the three Powers which took part in that conference, is now discussing in Moscow the conditions under which a provisional Government of national unity could be formed in Poland. It was officially stated after the Crimean Conference it was hoped that this projected provisional Government will have been formed and dinlomatic relations with it established by the major nations by the time the San Francisco Conference meets. If so. the invitation to attend the conference will be sent. . The Secretary, of India informed the Commons that the Government of India is to be represented at the San Francisco Conference, and also at the preliminary conference.
