Hollywood Awards FOR YEAR 1944 HOLLYWOOD, March 1-6 More than five thousand ' yelling fans jammed the Hollywood boulevard to hail the screen stars as they arrived at Graumen’s Chinese Theatre to attend the ceremony of the awarding of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts, and Science of Statuettes for the best performance during 1944.
