Commencing Monday, January S. Mails close at the Chief Post Office as under: — Christchurch and Duneain, lues., Thurs., Saturday. 9 a.m. ? Christchurch and Dunedin. _ daily, 4 pm; late fee, 5 p.m. (rail-car), 5.15 p.m. (late fee 6.30 P.m.) per Goods. North Island, Tues., Thurs., Saturday, 9 a.m. Letters only, 5 p.m., with late fee 6.30 p.m. Hokitika, 3 p.m. (late fee 4 p.m.) and 7 p.m. Westport, daily, 7 p.m., letters only per rail-car, 2.30 p.m. Reefton and Nelson, 7 n.m. daily, INLAND AIR MAIL. North Island and Dunedin, 5.15 Nelson, Blenheim and Nor>h jland, 9.30 a.m. daily. M. R. ALDRIDGE, Chief Postmaster.
