BOXING
GREYM'OUTH BOY’S SUCCESS
An indication of the high standard of boxing at present in existence on the West Coast is gained bv the news which reached Greymouth, yesterday, that Norman Ross, a prominent middle-weight and lightweight amateur boxer, of Brunner, was successful in the final of the Wellington middle-weight championship, which was held in the Wellington Town Hall on Tuesday evening. Boxing is proving popular in Wellington this season, particularly in the amateur section, so Ross’§ win is a meritorious one.
