USE OF U.S. GOVERNMENT
'PLANES.
(Rec. 5.5.) WASHINGTON, July-2. A spokesman for American airlin.es companies announced that the industry had formulated a post-war programme designed to utilise virtually all Government-owned transport ’planes. The programme calls for airlines to lease transport ’planes from the Government. If the lease Js broken new ’planes must be bought from American manufacturers. Foreign airlines should be allowed..! o participate in the arrangement under the same conditions.
