ACHIEVEMENTS OF LABOUR GOVERNMENT.

(Rec. 11.30) SYDNEY, July 3. The Minister of Trade and Customs (Senator Keane), who returned to-day from New Zealand, said he was extremely impressed by the excellent social achievements of the Dominion’s Labour Government. He was also impressed by the absence of beer and tobacco rationing in New Zealand. During a week’s goodwill tour he conferred with New Zealand Ministers on reverse lend-lease, price fixing and housing, in addition to all aspects of rationing.
