BASKETBALL
CONVENT SCHOOL v. HOKITIKA,
Basketball teams from the Greymouth Convent School, visited Hokitika yesterday to play their annual fixtures with teams from the District High School. They won one game and lost the other. Hokitika A defeated Convent A by 16 goals to 11, and Convent B beat Hokitika B by 12 goals to 8. The visitors in the morning played games with teams from the Convent at Hokitika. Hokitika Convent A beat Grev Convent A by 19 goals to 16, and Grey B defeated Hokitika B by 10 goals to 6.
