VISIT TO N.Z.
AUSTRALIAN TRADE AND CUSTOM'S MINISTER. (Rec. 11.43) MELBOURNE, June 20 Senator Keane, Minister of Trade and Customs, will be visiting New Zealand shortly to observe .on behalf of the Commonwealth Government the Results of Labour administration in the Dominion. He will be accompanied by Mr. A. C. Moore, Director .of the Division of Import Procurement, who will examine New Zealand’s achievements in housing, social service, rationing, price stabilisation, liquor control, also aspects' of lend-lease. Senator Keane expects to have trade discussions and conferences on matters arising from the Australia-New Zealand Pact. He expects to remain in New Zealand for eight days.
