Visitors to Okarito in the past week include Mr Condon (Franz Josef Glacier). Mr. Stoop and party. Mr. King and Mr. Thomas fHokitika).

. With bad weather and heavy seas for the past week, the Okarito bar now has a big swing to the north.

Mr. W. Bannister of Bruce Bav is a visitor to Okarito. He has purchased a launch from Okarito. Which he will operate from the Blue River. He will fish there for whitebait and bring them to Bruce Bay. Mr. Bannister is a well-known and experienced man with launches and knows the coastline hereabouts very well.
