POLLOCK —McKENNA.

The wedding of Janet, eldest daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. A. McKenna of Petone, and Petty Officer David, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Pollock, Taylorville, took place at St. tine’s Church, Petone, recently. Rev, Mr. Kenney officiated, and Mrs. Wu liams. was organist, The bride, who was escorted by hei father, wore a frock of ivory embossed cloche, cut on slim lines. Her embroidered veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom, and she wore a string of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. Her bouquet was of white chrysanthemums, pink roses, bride blossoms ano maiden-hair fern. Misses Cath. and Agnes McKenna attended the bride, wearing blue crepe-de-chine frocks. Their should-er-length veils were held in place by cyclamen coronets and they carried bouquets to tone. Robyn Blinkhorn, the flower-girl, wore pink organdi, relieved with blue, and all three attendants wore gold bracelets, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr. J. McKenna was best man and Mr. F. McKenna was groomsman, while Stanley Pollock was page boy. The reception was held at the Petone Tennis Club pavilion, where the mother of the bride, and the bridegroom’s mother received about 70 guests. The bride travelled in a blue and brown check three-piece suit, with blue accessories.
