NO EXTENSION PROPOSED, P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, June 19. That he was unable to support the resolution of the South Island local bodies’ executive asking for the opening for general use of the existing private railway line from Ross to Kakapotahi, was the reply of the Minister of Railways (Hon.
