PRISONERS ESCAPE
CHRISTCHURCH, April 30. Prisoners escaped from custody early on Saturday morning. They were arrested at Seddon at 11.45 a.m. to-day. They converted a motorcar, and though chased, they outpaced their pursuers. They were seen passing through Kaikoura at 9.25 a.m. to-day.
