CUSTOMS RETURNS

INCREASE AT GREYMOUTH FOR QUARTER. The total revenue collected at the Greymouth Customs Office during the .three .months ended yesterday was £4,336 3s lid more than in the first three months of last year. The foals wer P £78,284 18s 9d and £73,948 14s lOd respecively. Increases were shown in the revenue from all of the main items except War Expenses, where there was a slight drop. There was a big increase in the revenue from War Expenses Sales Tax. There was a drop of more than £3,800 in the total collections for March as compared with March last year, War Expenses, other, toeing the only one or the main items where an increase was shown.
