p A WELLINGTON, Feb. 24. Commenting to-night on the leave to be granted to men on furlougn .from the Middle East, the Minister of Defence (Hon. F. Jones) said that when the draft was met in Australia they were told that those who would be returning to the Middle East would be granted three months and that the remainder would be o-iven the normal twenty? eight "days’ sick and privilege leave prior to discharge.
