TO CHECK IMMORALITY WITH SERVICEMEN NEW YORK, Feb. 23. A 10 o’clock curfew for girls under 16 comes into force in New York to-night President Washingtons birthday holiday night.. The Py 11 ?® plan a dnive against, girls in then, teens who throng New York with servicemen. A similar .curfew has been enacted in 500 United States cities. Official figures show 1 the followino- increases in arpests of gins in the past year: Drunkenness, per cent.; prostitution, 64 per cent.; vagrancy, 124 per cent.
