REGATTA AT MOANA

The annual regatta of the Moana Yachting and Boating Club was held on December 31st and January Ist (New Year’s Day) with record entries. Nine Canterbury yachts took part. The weather was ideal, and the attendance was good on both days. Considerable interest was taken in the various events. Results were as follows: — Feary Trophy: Myotic, scr., 1; Mako, scr., 2; Majestic Im., 3. Time, 55min. Westland Brewery Coy, Cup Championship: Vicuna (West Coast), A. Kroening 1; Luana (Red Cliffs) 2; Commando (Lyttelton) 3. Twelve started. Time Ihr lOmin. A and N. Dense Cup: (free for all): Vala'da 14min, 1; Minx llmin. 2; Vicuna, lOmin. 3. Time, Ihr. 27min.
