A decrease of £725 6s 4d compared with the figure for November last vear was shown in. the total collections at the Greymouth Customs Office last month. The total was £30,114 8s 9d and last year’s was £30,840 15s Id, a record. Details of the main items, with figures for November 1942 in parenthesis are: Customs, £3,873 18s ,9d (£6.389 19s 3ri); sales tax. £3.515'35«8d (£3.048 13s 2d); war expenses sales tax. £6,005 13s 6d (£5.484 10s 4d): war exoenses other.£B,l69 4s 2d (£8,115 4s 2d).
