AUSSIE AIRMEN
18,000 SERVING IN EUROPE AND ASIA (Rec 9.50) MELBOURNE, Dec. 1. The strength of the Australian Air Force overseas, excluding the Australian airmen in the South-west Pacific area, is more than 18,000 men. The Minister of Air, Mr Drakeford, has announced that there are R.A.A.F. men in the United Kingdom, in the Middle East, and in India. All are engaged on operations. Mostly they are air personnel.
