[Our Own Correspondent]. There was. a large attendance a the Convent Old Girls’ dance he last Friday night in the Gymnasium. Mrs. Hewison and Mr. N. R. Armstrong supplied the music ana extias were played by Miss Eileen Wa™;Ck and Mr. J. Knapp. Mr. Les Wearne was M.C. A Monte Carlo was won by Mr A Eatwell and Miss M. Bradley, and Lucky Spot f? x -.t rot lv^ as q W O?NeU Mr and Mrs. F. Heslin. Mr. S O Ned (Deputy Mayor) thanked all present for assisting to make the dance a success and hoped they would all come alone to the next one which WOUI U e /he dance continued until the early hours of the morn.t g.
