' turkisA ’Quake havoc. RUGBY, Nov. 28. The Ankara Radio said the deathroll resulting from Friday, night s earthquake in Turkey has now risen to over 1000. In addition, seven hundred people were injured. The Turkish Government has sent special relief trains to the damaged area. (Rec. 11.5) LONDON, Nov. 29. The Ankara radio announced that the casualties in the earthquake m central Turkey had risen to one thousand killed and seven hundred injured.' The damage is greater than was at first anticipated. 1,800 KILLED. (Rec. 1 a.m.) ' LONDON, Nov. 29. Reuter’s Ankara correspondent says: Latest reports show that more than eighteen hundred persons were killed and two thousand' were seriously injured in the earthquake. Twenty-nine villages were destroyed. ’QUAKES IN AFGHANISTAN. LONDON, Nov. 28. Messages from India say that , Seismographs at Bombay last nivht recorded an earthquake shock, the •epicentre of which appears to be in the Khanda’har region of Afghanistan. No further details are available.
