SOUTH AFRICA’S FORCES
PRETORIA, Nov. 28. South Africa ha s agreed to rnaintain a total European strength or fifty thousand men, excluding native forces, said Lieut.-General Van Ryn.eveld, Chief of the General Staff. This includes more than twentv. air force squadrons in the field. Commenting on results of his recent visit to London General Van Ryneveld said that South Africa was committed to a great military, air and naval effort.
