. REUNION AT GREYMOUTH. About 200 persons, including Postmasters and staff from Post Offices throughout the West coast area from Ross to Reefton, attended a most successful reunion of the Greymouth section of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Employees’ Assn, and Officers’ Guild at Greymouth on Saturday, evening. The chairman of the section (Mr. A. H. Sumner) presided and" welcomed members and other guests. The following toasts were honoured: The King; The N.Z. P. and T. Employees’ Association and Officers’ Guild, Mr. H. C. Rowe, Mr. L. A. Hayes (Christchurch); Past and Present Telegraph Department, The Mayor of Greymouth (Mr. F. A. Kitchingnam), Mr. M. R. Aldridge (Chief Postmaster, Grevmouth); Service members, Mr. C. L. Hunt, Pte. V. R. Williams, 2nd N.Z.E.F., on furlough; The Ladies, Mr. S. J. Haden, Miss A.

Vaughan; Kindred Bodies, Mr. W. H. Walker, Messrs .W. Roberts (E.F. C.A.)„) W. Richmond (Public Service Association), Millar (R. 0.1. L. J. S'huker (Railway Tradesmen’s Association), A. E. Mayell (A.S.R.S.); Musicians and Entertainers, Mr. J. B. Richmond, Mr. J. Duffy. Following the toast of service members those present stood in silence for local district members who had made the supreme sacrifice overseas.

Items were given by Mrs. T. M. Mead’s orchestra. Miss S. Dowell (piano accordeon), Messrs J. Duify (vocal) and Sosta (violin), and dancing was enjoyed till midnight.

The secretary of the Westlanu Branch of the Timber Workers Union, Mr. F. L. Turley has received advice that special coupons will this week be to hand for an extra butter ration for timber workers, to whom thev will be forwarded immediately upon receipt. The extra ration for which the coupons provide will commence to-day.
