COLONY OF JEWS
Projected in Australia (Rec. 12.40.) LONDON, Oct. 22. A post-war plan for the colonisation of seven million acres of land in the East Kimberley region, in Western Australia, bv refugee Jews, has been approved, in principle, by the Australian Government, according to Doctor Steinberg, President of the League for Jewish Territorial Colonisation. Dr. Steinberg addbd that this plan was considered mutually beneficial, giving homeless Jews a place to settle, and partly answering the Australian problem of a shrinking population.
