OPENING SESSION LONDON, Oct. 19. Reuter’s Moscow correspondent states: The three-Power Conference has begun in Moscow. Mr. Hull, Mr. Eden and M. Molotov began work to-dav in an atmosphere of the utmost cordiality. The “Daily Express” says: The talks at Moscow are the most significant diplomatic event of the day. It is the first determined effort to fashion a brain as well as . mighty arms for our alliance. Two single purposes take precedence over all the tangled questions which have been discussed. They are how to win this war quickly and how to prevent an-y more wars.” ■ (Rec. 8.45) LONDON, Oct. 20. The Three-Power Conference in Moscow will meet once daily.
