ANNEXATION TALK.

(Rec. 10 p.m.) WINNIPEG. July 15. The Mayor of New York, Mr. La Guardia, in .an interview here, said: “The talk of annexation 'between America and Canada is silly. I know our people do not want it. Your people do not want it. Little misunderstandings and irritations will be avoidable if we get rid of diplomats, and let the- people work things out for themselves”
