CRONADUN NOTES

(Our Own Correspondent.) A large gathering of residents representative of the district assembled in the Cronadun Hall last Tuesday evening! to honour Mr. and Mrs. P. O’Regan, who were recently married. The function took the form of a euchre tournament, prizes for which were, won by Mrs, P. Smith and Mr. Noel Brazil. After a dainty supper had been partaken of Mr. J. J.-Coghlan in a neat speech congratulated the young couple, both of whom, have grown up in the district. Mrs. O’Regan as Postmistress had by her courtesy and obliging manner at all times, endeared herself to all, while “Ginger” was one of the 1 boys. On behalf of the residents he had much pleasure in presenting them with a firescreen and an envelope. Mr. P. O’Regan, in replying, thanked Mr. Coghlan for his remarks and the residents for their gift. He said that both his wife and himself liked the place and the people and would be likely to remain amongst them. The evening concluded with a. short dance, music for which was supplied by Mrs. E. Cohen, Mrs. Ellery, and Mr. G. Carson.
