MISS AMERICA. The Miss America committee met on Wednesday evening with Mr. A. Hill in the chair. The following ot<icers and committees were elected:-— Deputy-chairman, Mr. P. Coll; secrctarv Mr. P. Sweetman; Treasuier, Me a’ M. Carroll; assistant secretary Mt-'s E O’Neill: games committee, T. P. Rv'an (chairman), P. "cU. M. Jones. F. Costello, and M. McDonald. with power to add; competitions (women). Mesdames F. Parfitt (chairman), McKane, N. Lovell, Snjiivnn, Misses M. O’Neill and N. Moffatt: dance committee, Mr. G. Battv (to convene meetings); finance nnminjtt.ee. Messrs Carroll, R.van, and Hill; central committee delegates, w™. McKane and Rev. Brother TarC'S’US. Misses C. Moore (Norway), r. Purcer (Greece) and M. George (China) were elected Princesses.
