BURMA FRONT
Japanese Attack LONDON, April In Burma yesterday the Japanese started an. attack on one of the British positions south of Buthidaung. To-day’s Italian communique says that fighting in this area is still going on, but that on the Arakan front as a whole there has been no important change. British aircraft have been busy over the battle area. Hurricanes destroyed three eneniv trucks, wiped out some troops, and set huts on fire. Enemy troop concentrations were hombed in the Upper Chindwin area. The marshalling yards at Rangoon were also attacked. No British aircraft were lost.
