WEDDING
REYNOLDS —THOMPSON The wedding took place recently at Holy Trinity Church, Greymouth, of Ivy, second daughter of Mr and Mrs J Thompson, Ruru, and Eric, eldest son of Mr and Mrs J. Reynolds, of Runanga. Rev. P. Kirkham officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her father, looked charming in a frock of cream satin, with wreath and veil, and carried a lovely bouquet of lilies, freezias and dahlias. She was attended by her sister. Betty who wore pink lace oyer taffeta, with pink roses in her hair, and carried a bouquet of pink lilies and maidenhail- fern. Mr Dennis Reynolds was best man. , The reception was held at Harker’s, the guests being received by the biide’s mother, assisted by the bridegroom’s mother. Mrs Thompson wore a clover dress under a fawn coat, with hat to match, and wore a spray of hot-house flowers. The bridegroom’s mother wore a black model frock under a black edge-to-edge coat, with a black hat, and a shoulder spray of pink flowers. The happy couple left by rail-car for Christchurch and Timaru, the bride travelling in a cerise silk dress under a green coat, with hat to match. Their future home will be in Runanga.
