(Our Own Correspondent.) REEFTON, April 5.. Mr F Robertson of Wellington, is spending his holidays with his people at Rosstown. N . Mr Keith Archer has left for Nr. son, where he has accepted a po. - tion as a taxi driver. Mr and Mrs C. ,Buist returned from Blenheim on Saturday. . Private A. Saunders has arrived on leave, which he is spending with his mother, at Black’s Point. Mr White, who has been relieving at the National Bank, left on return to Christchurch, accompanied by Mrs White and daughter. Mrs W. Prentice and son left on return to Wellington on Saturday. Mr T. Fensom of Black’s Point has received word of the death of his brother at Kumara. ’ . ... Deer stalkers to the Maruia Springs at the week-end included N. Bohtho, B. Alborn, D. Reid, H. Newcombe, J Blackadder and R. Bolitho. For the month ending March 31, the Reefton Hospital reported; Patients admitted 36, discharged 37. remaining 34, births 8. There were no deaths. Owing to increased traffic, on the railway line, it has been found necessary to cut away the broom in the privately-owned property adjoining the line on the south side of the Reefton Railway Station. This broom has created a danger to motorists coming on to the crossing since the inception of the rail-cars and railway employees are to be commended on their action.
