The Danish National Union bloc representing five major parties won 140 of the 144 seats in the Lower House in the Parliamentary elections yesiterday, gaining three seats over the last Parliament. The coalition ’.s known to have the approval of King Christian. The Nazi Party held its three seats but the Peasants’ Party; which the Nazis are supporting lost two of its four seats. Reuter’s diplomatic correspondent comments that ’this is the only parliamentary election in Europe except Iceland since the outbreak of the war. It yielded an overwhelming majority for the democratic ideal in the teeth of the German occupation
