This act of vandalism occurred at the gravel-crushing plant owned by Lieutenant-Colonel H. C. Mackenzie, of Invercargill. The damage to the engine which was used to drive the crusher and the scoop, amounts to more than £5O, but the difficulty will be in replacing the broken parts.
