CONTRACT TRUCKING
LINTON MINE DISPUTE. P.A. INVERCARGILL, Nov. 25. No work was done at the Linton coal mine, at Ohai, to-day. A stop? work meeting was held this morning, when the men arrived for work. After the meeting the men went home. The manager, it is stated, was subsequently informed by the union Secretary that no further work would b e done in the mine until a decision of the Coal Mines’ Council regarding ■contract trucking was received.'
