OVERSEAS SERVICE
AUSTRALIAN MILITIA CURTIN’S PROPOSAL SUPPORTED. (Rec. 1.6) CANBERRA, Nov. 23. The Ministerial support on which Mr Curtin can count in his proposal to extend the scope of the Australian militia service to the South-west Pacific became overwhelming, afe soon as those Ministers who did not belong to the War Cabinet were informed of military facts of which they had previously been unaware. Only two Ministers do not support the proposal, which was discussed at to-day’s meeting of the Federal Cabinet.
