GOLDMINING
Slab Hut dredge return last week Was 50 ounces from 17,800 yards of material secured in 115 hours.
Associated dredges return last week were 215 ounces from 67.000 yards of material. Okarito dredge has been refloated and dredging will be re-commenced when the pontoons and framing have been straightened. The dredgemaster reports that 15 ozs. 5 dwt. of gold, which was on the dredge when it sank has been recovered.
